Let me start this with saying that I approached this skin with quite a bit of experience having done latex zombie skin.
Look for a cheap beauty supply store. I found a couple of different ones that had wigs, fake nails, hair color spray, pantyhose, etc. Great for costuming. I went to Sally's in a pinch for hair color spray, but it was about 2x the price as the general beauty supply store.
Pretty early on, I knew I didn't want to be doing a lot of make-up application the morning of wearing the costume. For both the arms and the face I started with a pantyhose base. I put the make up on top of this base.

Great costume! I have a couple questions:

2. Will the latex or makeup become distorted when I remove the mask? (i.e. if I do the mask a couple days before and put back on)

Delete1. I think this is a pretty easy approach, compared to casting a face mold. I did have some experience with liquid latex before I started though. You might want to experiment a bit beforehand.
2. I did not have any problems with the mask distorting, and I have worn it on several occasions. The spirit gum helps it form to your face when wearing it, and is essential. With any of these latex prosthetics, you may want to store them in some baby powder to keep them from sticking to themselves.
Note: I did have some issue with some of the 3D gel used for sculpting the ridges flattening a bit. I believe this is due to heat.
